在大館正式開幕前在劇場中演了兩遍《回聲摺疊》,感受在這個歷史建築當中翻新一輪後,從監獄法庭警署變成的藝術場所。甚麼樣的摺疊,激起了甚麼樣的回聲。

那棗紅磚牆、灰白的木地板、新蓋上的金屬框架、水泥構成粗糙但直接的線條於空間流動,一如當中的舊日與現代的對話。來到新建成的劇場,上演過去演過多次的作品,但每每重演,也因著空間的轉換而改變。而這個劇場與觀眾之間的距離不遠,有著與黑盒子不同的質地和親密感。

替這次內部演出拍攝的Steve Li已經是第三次為這個演出以照片紀錄,他從首演一直跟隨到現在,也就過了快兩年的時間。從照片見證作品的延伸和變形,...

竭力吶喊創作,在自己的聲音裡面,在地球另一端同樣找到共鳴,也是回聲之一吧。

在隱身於城市小角落的場地,多數的在地人會認識旁邊的越南餐館,卻不知道這個溫馨卻充滿實驗的小黑盒performance art depot (pad)。第九年舉行的國際表演藝術節從去年收到三百份作品徵件到今年的八百份,對兩位總監,兼技術部門兼對外對內一切事務的Peter和Nic來說實在是極限,於是從八百份當中他們已經擬好了下一年的節目,再來的就已經是2019年的徵件。但從節目看來,他們也真的確立了這個藝術節的定位和美學,以及一群本地的觀眾。
